De Kock sets off for the run, thinking the ball has gone behind the keeper. However, Jitesh Sharma claws it out with his left hand and then grabs it with his right to break the stumps in a flash. QDK is not sure, and the decision is sent upstairs. The replay shows that the batter is short of his crease. Quinton de Kock departs for a brilliant 90 off 46, and just misses out on a hundred. 156/3

4.1 OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! Varun Chakaravarthy strikes with his very first ball. Googly first up from Varun, short and on middle. Hendricks presses on the back foot and swivels for the pull. The ball skids through to sneak under the blade and crashes into the stumps. Reeza falls for 8 (10). South Africa are 38/1 in 4.1 overs. 38/1

12 OUT! CAUGHT! Varun Chakaravarthy breaks through! Tossed up by Varun from around the wicket, full and on middle and leg. Aiden Markram clears the front leg and has a hoick across the line. Gets it right off the toe end of the bat and the ball goes only as far as deep mid-wicket. Axar Patel makes no mistake in the deep. The 83-run stand is broken. South Africa are now 121/2. 121/2

16.1 OUT! TAKEN! Axar Patel strikes now. He drags his length back, on middle and leg, skids through a bit. Dewald Brevis moves back to pull it away but gets a bit cramped up and ends up hitting it much straighter. It flies flat towards long on, where Tilak Varma runs forward and dives to take a fantastic catch with the ball dying on him. Brevis walks back for 14 off 10, and South Africa have slipped from 156/2 to 160/4. 160/4

2 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Marco Jansen with an absolute peach of a delivery. He hits the length hard and on middle, threatens to angle in but shapes away after hitting the deck. Abhishek Sharma stays back to defend, but just like Gill, gets opened up as he plays for the angle. It takes the outside edge and goes behind, where Quinton de Kock makes no mistake. Jansen loved that dismissal, and it is a big one for South Africa as well. Abhishek departs for 17 off 8, and India are 19/2, having lost both the openers. 19/2

0.5 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Lungi Ngidi draws first blood, and Shubman Gill's miserable run continues. Ngidi lands this on a good length and around the fourth stump line. Gets it to shape away from the batter and late too. Gill stays back to play at it but gets squared up completely with the movement. It takes the outside edge and flies fast to the right of first slip, where Reeza Hendricks moves to that side to take a sharp catch. Gill goes back for a golden duck, and India are 9/1, chasing 214 runs. 9/1

7.3 OUT! CAUGHT! A fine low grab from Reeza Hendricks and South Africa break through just as India seemed to be gaining a bit of momentum. Fuller and going across the left-hander, Axar stays leg side of the ball and looks to thrash it through the off side. Neither does he manage to keep it along the ground nor pick the gap. Hits it uppishly and straight to cover, where Reeza Hendricks gets low and has his hands out in front with his body weight going backwards. The third umpire is called into action. After zooming in on one of the angles, the third umpire is happy that Reeza has his fingers under the ball. Axar's promotion to number 3 does not work out the way India had hoped. He falls for a run-a-ball 21. India are now 67/4. 67/4

3.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Excellent review from South Africa, and Marco Jansen gets his second. This is on a hard length and around off, shaping away. Suryakumar Yadav has a poke at it but misses as the ball goes past the outside edge behind, where QDK dives to his right to grab it. There is a noise, and Marco Jansen appeals for a caught behind, but it is turned down. Jansen looks the most interested, but Quinton de Kock is not sure. However, after a long conversation with the keeper and the bowler, Aiden Markram goes upstairs with 3 seconds to go. UltraEdge comes up and shows a big spike when the ball passes the bat. SKY starts to walk off. India are 32/3, and in a spot of bother. 32/3

19.1 OUT! CAUGHT! South Africa complete a dominant win. A scrambled seam delivery, on a good length, around the off pole. Tilak clears the front leg and swings through the line. Fails to get hold of it and the ball goes only as far as long on, where Aiden Markram does the rest. The Proteas win by 51 runs to draw level in the series. 162/10

14.2 OUT! TAKEN! Lutho Sipamla gets his man this time. Marco Jansen will be a relieved man as his drop does not cost South Africa much here. This is full and angling into the pads. Hardik Pandya stays deep and looks to whip it away but gets it from the toe-end of his bat. He does not get the elevation and the ball flies flat towards deep mid-wicket, where Dewald Brevis makes no mistake. Pandya walks back for a scratchy 20 off 23, and India lose half their side now. 118/5

17.5 OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Lutho Sipamla has his man! Pace on, full and at the sticks, Jitesh Sharma stays deep in the crease and swings across the line. Gets a leading edge that goes a long way up between short third and backward point. Ottneil Baartman moves to his right from short third and George Linde also converges. Good communication from the two men there as Linde leaves it for Baartman. Ottneil settles under the skier and takes a fine catch. 157/6

18.1 OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! Ottneil Baartman strikes on his return to the attack. Skidding through, on a length with an upright seam, Dube hangs on the back foot and looks to drag it away on the leg side. The ball sneaks under the angled bat to crash into the top of the off pole. 158/7

18.4 OUT! TAKEN! A tame dismissal and Ottneil Baartman's night continues to get better. Baartman switches to around the wicket and bashes the hard length, outside off. Singh stays leg side of the ball and tries to glide it away with a horizontal bat. Ends up steering it straight into the hands of David Miller at backward point, who makes no mistake. 162/8
