2 OUT! CAUGHT! This time, the wicket has fallen! That always looked out to the naked eye. Very full, wide outside off, Head reached out and tried to carve it over the off side. Hit it straight to short third where Kwena Maphaka took the catch and started to celebrate. Head was going nowhere, so the umpires decided to have a check upstairs. Sure enough. The first replay shows the ball bouncing before the bat, going off the face of the bat and into the hands of the fielder. Head has to depart for 2 (7) and Australia are 15/1 after 2 overs! 15/1

2.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Two wickets in three balls! Short, outside off, Josh Inglis rocks back to cut. But it appears as if the ball kind of got stuck on the surface. Hence, it arrived a bit late and got spooned straight to point. Senuran Muthusamy over there leaps to take the catch nicely. A golden duck for Inglis and Australia are now 16/2 after 2.2 overs! 16/2

5.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Green's destructive innings come to an end. Slower ball, outside off, Cameron Green looks to go big on the on side, attempting a pull but only succeeds in getting a top edge. The ball goes behind the wickets and three fielder get ready for the catch. In the end, the keeper calls for it and takes it nicely. Green departs for 35 (14) and the 40-run stand is broken. Australia are 70/4 after 5.5 overs! 70/4

18.2 OUT! An entertaining knock from Tim David finally comes to a halt. Maphaka bowls a cutter, and it holds up a bit off the surface. David looks to heave that away over the leg side with a big swing but the ball hits his bat high on the sticker and he ends up lobbing it down to long on. The wind actually takes it further away and Travis Head covers excellent ground racing to his right from long on. Eventually gets there, puts in a slide and takes the catch. The crowd stands as one to applaud David off the ground, as he departs for a heroic 83 (52), giving the Aussies something to defend. The 30-run stand is broken and Australia are 164/8 after 18.2 overs! 164/8

6.4 OUT! BOWLED! The off stump has gone cartwheeling! Mindless batting. Mitchell Owen jumps down the track and exposes all his three stumps, moving to the leg side. Maphaka keeps it around middle and leg stumps, changes his pace and gets the ball to angle away. Owen is already through his slash and misses, with the ball knocking off the off stump. Probably took an outside edge on its way. Owen departs for 2 (4) and from 70/3, Australia are now 73/5! 73/5

7.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Maxwell departs now and this might be a 10-over innings! Floated, outside off, Glenn Maxwell backs away to the leg side slightly and then reaches out to hit it over the off side. Ends up slicing the ball and it goes off the outside edge, towards deep point. The ball is moving in the air and George Linde has to work hard at sweeper cover. Runs to his left and dives full stretch, to take a stinger, making amends for his earlier drop of Head. No show from The Big Show as he departs for 1 (5) and from 70/3, Australia are now 75/6! 75/6

14.4 OUT! CAUGHT! More than enough power but not enough elevation! Kwena Maphaka serves it full and at the stumps, Ben Dwarshuis stays leg side of the ball and looks to smash it over mid off. However, he doesn't quite get under the ball and hits it flat just to the left of mid off. Aiden Markram takes a sharp catch around his waist and Australia are now 134/7 in 14.4 overs. 134/7

20 OUT! ELLIS IS RUN OUT! For the first time in a T20I, South Africa have bowled the Aussies out! Another yorker, on middle and leg, Ellis digs it out to the leg side. He wants to mazimize the result, so takes the single and charges back for the second. But Corbin Bosch is quick to get to the ball, pick up and have a shy at the striker's end. Hits the stumps direct and Ellis is nowhere in the frame. AUSTRALIA ARE BOWLED OUT FOR 178! 178/10

18.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Well, the focus was on Australia's batting and David's half century. But all of a sudden, Maphaka is on a 5-fer! Full and down the leg side, Adam Zampa flicks it beautifully but ends up hitting it to Tristan Stubbs running to his right from deep mid-wicket who makes no mistake this time. Fourth wicket for Maphaka as Zampa departs for 1 (2) and from 164/7, Australia are now 166/9! 7 balls are still left in this innings. 166/9

1 OUT! CAUGHT! The Hoff does have the last laugh! After conceding three boundaries in 5 balls, a bowler usually looks to get out of the over without much damage. But Hazlewood is brave and lands it on a length, outside off. Aiden Markram looks to punch it on the up, through the off side, but cannot keep it down. Hits it straight to Cameron Green at cover, who takes the catch and then does a 'duckwalk' as a kind of celebration. 3 fours and a wicket from the opening over, as Markram departs for 12 (6) and South Africa are 12/1 after 1 over, needing another 167 from 114 balls! 12/1

19.2 OUT! The catch is legal and Glenn Maxwell does wonders on the field once again! Absolutely brilliant from Maxi near the long on fence, and it is almost done for the Proteas. Dwarshuis bowls into the pitch, a pace-off delivery, around middle and off, Ryan Rickelton waits back and heaves it away to clear off the long on fence, but there is Maxi prowling over there. He waits till the last moment, for the ball to come and then flings himself to take the catch mid air, outside the boundary. Also, realizing where he was, he has the presence of mind to throw the ball up in the air before landing and then come back inside the boundary rope to hold on in the second attempt! Rickelton is disappointed but also happy to trust Maxwell's celebrations and is walking off. However, the onfield umpire wants to have that checked. The third umpire is called into play and sure enough, the Big Show has indeed put on a big show! Rickelton departs for a fabulous 71 (55) but sadly for him, it won't be enough to take his side home. 158/8

4.4 OUT! CAUGHT! So Maxwell does get one of the left-handers. Pretorius might consider himself unlucky. There was only that one man in the deep on the off side and he has found him to perfection. Full, outside off, Lhuan-dre Pretorius backs away and looks to go inside out. But Mitchell Owen is stationed at wide long off and the ball goes straight to him! Pretorius departs for 14 (9) and South Africa are 40/2, needing another 139 from 82 balls. 40/2

5.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Smart bowling. Pace off, outside off, fuller in length, angling away, Dewald Brevis looks to go big on the leg side but ends up skying this high in the air. The ball does not have any distance and the substitute fielder, Sean Abbott, takes it calmly at cover. Brevis departs for 2 (6) and South Africa are 48/3 after 5.5 overs, needing another 131 from 85 balls! 48/3

14.3 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Hazlewood breaks the 72-run stand. A short ball, outside off, Tristan Stubbs looks to pull, but the ball comes in and takes the inner edge of the bat. Goes through to the keeper, where Josh Inglis makes no mistake. Second wicket for Hazlewood as Stubbs departs for 37 (27). 15 OUT! CAUGHT! Second wicket in the over! On a length, around off, angling away, George Linde pushes through the line yet again. This time, the ball takes the outside edge and goes straight to Glenn Maxwell at first slip. Excellent captaincy from Mitchell Marsh to have a slip in the first place. 15.5 OUT! BOWLED! Terrific delivery. The googly, outside off, Corbin Bosch looks to cut again but the ball pitches and jags back in, beats the bat and hits the off stump! Bosch comes and goes for 2 (4) and from 120/3, South Africa are now 123/6! Equation - 56 runs, 25 balls. 123/6

16 OUT! LBW! Full, around off, Senuran Muthusamy looks to play the reverse sweep but misses and is hit on the pads. Zampa appeals and the umpire raises his finger. Muthusamy has a chat with his partner and takes the review. It goes wasted as Ball Tracking projects it to be hitting the off stump. Two in two for Zampa as Muthusamy gets a first baller. A length ball, directed at the stumps, from over the wicket, outside off, Kagiso Rabada swings for the heavens but connects with thin air, missing the ball completely.
