There is a bit of a mix-up and Head stops, but then sees his partner is already halfway through, and then starts again. Calitz from square leg is quick to the ball and throws it to the bowler's end, where Mark Adair grabs it cleanly ahead of the stumps and takes the bails off, with Head short of his crease. 6.5 OUT! TAKEN! A screamer of a catch by the skipper, Stirling. Smartly bowled by Dockrell. Lands this around the off stump, on a fractionally fuller length, offering good bit of flight. It lands and turns with some bounce. Josh Inglis is sucked into the shot and tries to smash it through cover, or maybe, trying to loft it over the cover fielder. But the ball holds on the surface and arrives later than he expected it to. Ends up tamely chipping it towards cover where Paul Stirling times his leap nicely to his right and takes a flat catch over his head. The Irishmen are joyous as they get a big wicket. 5 OUT! TAKEN! Mark Adair has the last laugh here. He rolls his fingers to take pace off the ball, pulls his length back too, on middle. Cameron Green once again tries to go leg side and has a slog across the line but goes through it early. It takes the inside half of the bat and flies towards mid-wicket, where George Dockrell dives forward to take a fine catch. Green departs for a quick 21 off 11, and Australia are 56/2. 56/2

16.5 OUT! BOWLED! A threatening 61-run partnership is broken for the fifth wicket. A back-of-a-length projectile from Humphreys, aimed straight at the stumps going in with the arm, 110.2 kph. Renshaw hangs back, trying to nudge it on the leg side, but he is late as the excessive pace does him in. Gets an inside edge, and the stumps are rattled. 9.3 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Tector strikes and strikes very big for Ireland. Harry stays around the stumps and bowls another round-arm ball, but this time, he pushes it flatter and quicker, across the batter with a good drift. Glenn Maxwell is hurried on the back foot and looks to cut it away, but the ball grazes the inside edge as it skids through and stays low. Lorcan Tucker takes a sharp catch behind the stumps. Glenn Maxwell stands there in absolute disbelief and departs for not many. Just a run-a-ball 9 for him and Australia are reduced to 88/4. 88/4

17.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Massive blow for Australia. A low full toss by Adair, on the pads. It is there to be hit, but Marcus Stoinis fails to get underneath it and whips it off the inner half of the bat. The ball dips towards deep backward square leg, where Ben Calitz runs a few yards ahead, gets crouched and takes it with a reverse cup. He doesn't look comfortable, but he balances himself up eventually. A well-constructed 45 off 29 from Marcus Stoinis as he is extremely frustrated with himself for not putting that all the way. 2.1 OUT! BOWLED 'EM! That is a ripper of a delivery to bowl first up from Nathan Ellis. Ellis begins with the back-of-the-hand slower ball, lands it on a good length and around middle. Ross Adair hangs back to block but the ball holds in the deck and Adair is comprehensively beaten before the ball goes on and makes a mess of the middle stump. Ross is unable to make the most of life and departs for 12 (9). 13/2

2 OUT! CAUGHT! Excellent work from Cameron Green and Matthew Kuhnemann does pick up a wicket here. Tossed up, fuller and on off, grips a bit as well. Harry Tector backs away to loft it over covers but gets the timing all wrong. The ball goes high and over cover, where Green runs around and gets beyond the ball, before settling himself and pouching it safely. A three-ball duck for Tector. 13/1

13.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Adam Zampa breaks this sturdy partnership and gets his second wicket. This is a wrong 'un, fuller, on middle. Lorcan Tucker sits on one knee and looks to sweep it against the wind. The ball flies toward the deep mid-wicket region, and Cooper Connolly settles underneath the skier to pouch it safely into his hands. End of a 46-run stand between Tucker and Dockrell. 89/6

2.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust. Ireland are gifting wickets away now. A regulation back-of-a-length delivery from Nathan Ellis, bowled around off stump. Curtis Campher rocks back and looks to pull but the length isn't quite there. He ends up hitting it straight to short mid-wicket, where Cameron Green takes a simple catch. Campher departs for 4 (2) and Ireland are 17/3 or maybe even effectively 17/4 if Stirling is unable to come out to bat. 17/3

4.1 OUT! DRAGGED ON! Nathan Ellis is just on fire. This is his second over of the inning, and he has already picked up his third wicket. Today is certainly his day. Ellis hits hard on the length, pitching it on middle and angling it away from the left-hander. Ben Calitz hangs on his back foot to pull it down to mid-wicket, but gets the inside edge and it crashes onto the stumps. Ben Calitz departs for 2 runs off 4 deliveries and Ireland are in deep trouble here. 27/4

6.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Excellent grab by Josh Inglis, behind the sticks. Zampa serves a googly on a length and in the channel, outside off, Delany premeditates the paddle sweep but the googly catches the inside edge of the blade and goes towards the keeper. Josh Inglis, with a safe pair of hands, gets in line to take it sharply. Delany goes for 11 (12) and Ireland now need 140 more runs off 79 balls. 43/5

Clever from Adam Zampa and he picks up his third wicket. Dockrell takes a premeditated charge and Zampa pushes his line wide outside off, away from the hitting zone. Dockrell swings and misses. The keeper, Josh Inglis, collects and clips the bails off with ease. George Dockrell goes for 41 (29). 73 needed off 28 balls now for Ireland. 110/7

15.4 OUT! TAKEN! 'Catch it' is the call from Josh Inglis and Connolly does the job. A wrong 'un, attacking the stumps and on a length. Adair clears his front leg and moves back to pull but top edges it to deep mid-wicket. High in the night sky and in the hands of Cooper Connolly in the deep. A simple catch for the fielder. 111/8
