8.3 OUT! CHOPPED ON! Azmatullah Omarzai provides the first breakthrough for Afghanistan and he is overjoyed with it. He keeps the line of attack outside off, on the back of a length. Soumya Sarkar is a bit tentative to play the cover drive and hence, the weight is not fully transferred on the front foot. As a result, he inside edges it and the ball crashes into the stumps. Soumya Sarkar who was looking really confident with his strokes loses his wicket on a lazy shot. Bangladesh are 53/1 in 8.3 overs. 53/1

10.2 OUT! RUN OUT! Bangladesh are falling apart here! Afghanistan gets a wicket in three consecutive overs. Azmatullah Omarzai bowls this on a good length and around middle, Mehidy Hasan gets squared up and guides it wide of point. He takes a couple of steps forward for the single and his partner responds. But Mehidy sends his partner back very late and Zakir Hasan gets stranded halfway down the track. Nangeyalia Kharote moves to his left, picks up and hits bullseye at the non-striker's end with Hasan nowhere near the crease. Bangladesh three down now! 58/3

46 OUT! TAKEN! Azmatullah Omarzai has the last laugh here after conceding 12 runs in the previous 5 balls. He takes all the pace off, hard length and outside off. Mehidy Hasan looks to heave it across the line but goes through his shot early. Gets a top edge as the ball loops in the air towards extra covers where Gulbadin Naib takes a simple catch. 14.4 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! The magician strikes now and Towhid Hridoy's short stay at the crease comes to an end. The pressure was building with all the dots and Afghanistan gets the reward. Rashid Khan bowls another leggie, quicker through the air, full and on off, turning away a shy bit. Towhid Hridoy stays back in his crease and tries to keep it out with a straight bat, but the ball takes the outside edge and Gulbadin Naib at first slip shows quick reflexes to take a sharp catch. He makes up for his earlier dropped catch. Bangladesh are 72/4 now and in a spot of bother! 72/4

50 OUT! RUN OUT! No, he can't! Azmatullah Omarzai pitches it up, on middle, Mahmudullah swipes it away towards deep square leg and turns around for the second run. Rahmat Shah is quick to collect the ball and throws it to the keeper's end where Rahmanullah Gurbaz does the rest. Mahmudullah is well short of his crease but has played a terrific knock of 98 runs off 98 balls. Bangladesh finishes on 244/8! 244/8

Azmatullah Omarzai lands this on a hard length and just outside off, Jaker Ali tries to heave it across the line but misses. The ball goes close to the inside edge and there is a sound as well. 7.4 OUT! BOWLED'EM! Delight for the debutant! Nahid Rana gets his first ODI wicket with an absolute cracker of a delivery. He hits the length hard on the sixth stump line, gets it to nip back in sharply at around 149 clicks. Sediqullah Atal stays in his crease but is late to bring his bat down and plays down the wrong line as well. The ball goes through the gap between bat and pad and just kisses the top of off. He could not have done much with that as it was a perfect ball. Afghanistan lose their first wicket! Also, Rahmat Shah walks out to bat at number 3. 41/1
