2.5 OUT! LBW! Matt Henry draws first blood! A big wicket for New Zealand as the current No.1 ODI batter goes back to the hut cheaply. Henry serves this one much fuller this time, on middle, shaping in slightly. Shubman Gill gets stuck in his crease and looks to work it across the line but misses and gets hit on the pads right in front of the stumps. There is a big appeal and up goes the finger. It looks plumb but Gill takes the review after having a chat with his skipper. 6.4 OUT! CAUGHT! AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER FROM PHILLIPS! Virat Kohli is left stunned but will have to go back to the dressing room. Matt Henry gets his second wicket and India are in big trouble as they have lost their top three inside the first Powerplay! Henry bowls on a good length, and well outside off, Virat Kohli extends his arms and looks to thrash it to the off side. He can't keep it down and the ball goes in the air through the outer half of the bat towards backward point. 36.2 OUT! TAKEN! Will O'Rourke gets the set batter! Once again, a break in play brings in a wicket for the fielding side. The short ball plan has finally worked for New Zealand. This one is banged into the pitch again at 143 clicks, on middle, but this time it bounces a bit extra. Shreyas Iyer decides to take it on and looks to pull but the ball gets big on him. He gets a top edge that flies behind mid-wicket where Will Young runs backwards, fumbles it on the first attempt but hangs onto it on the second. Iyer walks back after an excellent 79 off 98, and India lose half their side now! 172/5

29.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Rachin Ravindra breaks the partnership and Axar Patel is gone! Ravindra keeps it a bit shorter, around middle, from over the wicket, Axar Patel bends a bit low and looks to pull it but generates a top edge that goes towards short fine leg. Kane Williamson at first misjudges the ball and comes ahead, but realises that the ball is going over his head. Adjusts by going back a couple of steps and extends his right hand to take it one-handed. Axar goes for 42 (61). The 98-run stand is broken and India are 128/4. 128/4

39.1 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Mitchell Santner joins the party now! Katey Martin and Dinesh Karthik On-Air were just talking about different wicket-keeping styles of New Zealand and India, and Tom Latham takes a sharp catch behind the stumps here. This one is flatter, full and on middle, turns away a bit and skids through too. KL Rahul backs away to push it away but gets a thin outside edge. He fails to keep the shot along the ground and it goes low towards backward point. Williamson gets nice and low early and flings himself to his non-dominant left side. 4 OUT! TAKEN! Hardik Pandya gives India their first breakthrough! Hardik stays over the wicket and bends his back in an effort to dig in short, outside off. Rachin hops and reaches out to flay it behind square on the off side. He is airborne while playing the shot and fails to get the distance behind the shot. It goes straight up towards deep third where Axar Patel misjudges at first as he takes a couple of steps back but makes amends as he runs and dives ahead to complete the catch. 17/1

41 OUT! STUMPED! Axar Patel gets the big fish on the final ball of his spell! He bowls the arm ball, full and on middle, angling in. Kane Williamson skips down the track to drive it over the bowler but misses it completely. He is so far out of his case that he does not even try to get back. KL Rahul collects and does the rest. Williamson walks back for a fighting 81 off 120, but this just might be the final nail in the coffin for the Kiwis. 169/7

25.1 OUT! LBW! Kuldeep Yadav breaks through for India! Or does he? Daryl Mitchell has reviewed it after consulting his partner. Kuldeep gives flight to the ball, on a length, around middle, turns in, Daryl Mitchell comes forward and looks to defend it with the full face of the bat. Gets beaten on the inside edge as the ball takes a turn and wears it on the front pad. There is an appeal for LBW from Kuldeep and the umpire raises his finger. The third umpire comes into play as the UltraEdge shows that there is no bat involved.
