Fareed Ahmad, born on August 10th, 1994, in Nangarhar, Afghanistan, is a formidable left-arm fast-medium bowler representing Afghanistan on the international stage. Despite Afghanistan's reputation for producing exceptional spinners, Ahmad stands out as a rare gem with his penchant for bowling fast and hitting the deck hard. Ahmad's journey in international cricket began in 2014 when he made his debut for the Afghanistan national cricket team. His ODI debut came on December 2nd against UAE, albeit it was a challenging start as he went for 44 runs in six overs without managing to secure a wicket. However, Ahmad's resilience and determination shone through, and two years later, he made his T20I debut against the same opponent, UAE, on December 14, 2016.
