# Darren Bravo is the top run-scorer in the series so far - 383 at an average of 76.60, including in six innings.

# Bravo is all set to complete 400 runs in a Test series for the first time tomorrow.

# India (482) have recorded their highest total against the West Indies at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, obliterating the 463 in November 1983.

# India's aforesaid total is their fourth highest at Wankhede Stadium - the top three being 591 against England in February 1993, 517 for 5 wickets declared against Australia in October 1986 and 512 against Sri Lanka in December 1997.

# Virat Kohli (52) has posted his his maiden Test fifty, obliterating the 30 against the West Indies at Roseau in July this year.

# VVS Laxman's record at Wankhede Stadium is far from satisfactory.  He is averaging just 24.37 at this venue - 195 in eight innings, including one fifty - 69 against Australia in November 2004.

# Laxman is averaging 133.50 in the present series - 267 runs, including one hundred and one fifty.  Only Rahul Dravid (286 at 71.50) has made more runs than Laxman for India.

# Sachin Tendulkar is the third Indian after Dravid and Laxman to aggregate 200 runs or more in the present rubber - 215 at an average of 53.75 in three Tests, including two fifties.

# Sachin has been dismissed in the nervous nineties ten times - an unwanted record in Tests -  four times against England, twice against West Indies and once each against Pakistan, Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

# Sachin's 10th Test dismissal in the 90s is his scond since posting his 99th century.

# Two other batsmen have posted ten innings in the nervous nineties.  Steve Waugh (twice not out against England) and Rahul Dravid (once not out against Australia)

# Ravichandran Ashwin (103) has registered his highest innings in Tests - his maiden hundred, obliterating the 4 not out at Eden Gardens.

# Ashwin's innings is the third highest by India's number eight batsman against the West Indies in Tests, next only to Mahendra Singh Dhoni's 144 at Kolkata in 2011-12 and Ajay Ratra's 115 not out at St.John's in 2002.  Vinoo Mankad had narrowly missed his hundred s number eight batsman - 96 at Port of Spain in 1952-53.

# Ashwin has become the first Indian all-rounder to post a hundred and claim five wickets in an innings in the same Test match in India.  He is the third Indian to accomplish the double of posting a hundred and taking 5 wickets in an innings, joining Vinoo Mankad   (72 & 184 and 5/196 & 0/35 against England at Lord's in 1952) and Polly Umrigar (56 & 172* 5/107 & 0/17 at Port of Spain in 1961-62)

# The last all-rounder to perform the double of a hundred and five wickets in an innings was Jacques Kallis.  He had performed the feat aainst West Indies at Cape Town in 1998-99.  He again accomplished the feat against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in 2002-03.
