Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in Qualifier 2 and entered the final of IPL 2024.

Asked to bat first, SRH struggled a bit with the bat but ended up posting a total of 175/9 in 20 overs.

Later, SRH showed their bowling ability and restricted RR to 139/7 and won the game by 36 runs.

With this loss, RR bowed out of the tournament but it was a double whammy for their spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who registered an unwanted record.

Chahal conceded 34 runs in 4 overs, which included three sixes. With 224 sixes in his IPL career, he is now the bowler to concede the most sixes in IPL.

He surpassed Mumbai Indians spinner Piyush Chawla, who has leaked 222 sixes in his IPL career.

Third player on the list is Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja with 206 sixes.
