The match also became a historic one as Spain star Lamine Yamal become the youngest player in the European championship's history.

At age of 16 years, 338 days, Yamal surpassed the record of Poland's Kacper Kozlowski, who was 17 years, 246 days old in Euro 2020.

The third youngest player to feature in Euro Cup is England's Jude Bellingham, who 17 years, 349 days in Euro 2020.

Next on the list is Netherlands' Jetro Willems. He was 18 years, 71 days when he featured for Netherlands in Euro 2012.

Belgium's Enzo Scifo is the fifth youngest player in the history of Euro. He was 18 years, 115 days when he played in the 1984 edition.

Jamal Musiala from Germany is next on the list as he was 18 years, 117 days when he played in the 2020 edition.
