So how much prize money will the team take home?

India will be awarded a whopping fee of approximately Rs 20 crore (USD 2.24 million), as announced by ICC for the winning team prior to the event.

However, the Champions Trophy prize money falls flat when compared to IPL sales.

Even the Rs 20 crore prize money is less than what India stars Rishabh Pant or Shreyas Iyer were bought for in the IPL 2025 auction.

Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs Rs 27 cr in the auction, while Iyer was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 26.75 cr.
