T20 World Cup 2024 kick-started on June 2 with debutants and co-hosts USA defeating Canada by 7 wickets.

Let's discuss the format of the T20 World Cup 2024:

A total of 20 teams are playing the World Cup, divided in four different groups.

Every team will be facing everyone in it's respective group and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 8 stage.

In Super 8, there will be two groups, comprising of four teams each.

The top two teams of both the groups will then qualify for the semi-finals.

The final, which is scheduled to be held on June 29, will be played between the winners of the semi-finals.
