Kolkata Knight Riders retained their skipper Shreyas Iyer at a whopping price of Rs 12.25 crore. However, he was ignored by the selectors for the World Cup.

2. Shreyas Iyer

Punjab Kings bought pacer Harshal Patel at a whopping price of Rs 11.75 crore. However, he was overlooked by the selection committee.

CSK pacer Deepak Chahar, who gets paid a price of Rs 14 crore, is regularly down with injuries. This is one of the main reasons behind his exclusion from the squad.
