Salah has become the first player in Premier League history to win the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Men's Player of the Year award thrice.

The PFA Player of the Year award is widely recognized as the most prestigious individual honour in English football.

Salah, Ronaldo, Bale, Henry, De Bruyne, Alan Shearer and Mark Hughes had all won it twice previously.

But Salah scored 34 goals in the 2024/25 season, powering Liverpool to their 20th top-flight title.

As a result, the Egyptian has become the first man to win the PFA Men's Player of the Year award three times.
