Rohit Breaks Gayle's Record To Become...

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma achieved a massive world record during the Champions Trophy 2025 match against Australia in Dubai.

Rohit scored 28 runs in the semis, which included three boundaries and a six. This was Rohit's 65th six in an ICC tournament.

He became the most prolific six-hitter in the history of ICC ODI tournaments as he went past Chris Gayle's feat of 64 maximums.

Rohit had previously gone past Gayle's ODI tally of 331 sixes to become the second highest six-hitter in the format.

Former Pakistan batter Shahid Afridi still leads the table with a record 351 sixes.
