The ongoing five-match Test series between India and England is a special one for Ravichandran Ashwin as he is achieving big feats.

During the 3rd Test, Ashwin scalped his 500th Test wicket and became the third off-spinner to reach this milestone.

The 5th Test in Dharamsala will now mark his 100th appearance in the longest format for India.

He is the 14th cricketer to represent India in 100 Tests and only the fifth bowler to do so.

Ashwin will also become the 6th spinner in the world to achieve this big feat.

At the age of 37 years, 172 days, Ashwin is the oldest Indian to receive his 100th Test cap.

Out of the 99 matches played so far, Ashwin has featured in 58 victories.

Only Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli have surpassed Ashwin's win record as they have registered 72 and 59 wins respectively.

So far in his career, Ashwin has won 9 Man of the Match awards, which is the 4th highest by an Indian in Tests.
