Ravichandran Ashwin played in 106 Tests for India, claiming 537 wickets.

Anil Kumble, on the other hand, is India's all-time leading wicket-taker in the format with 619 scalps in 132 games.

Ashwin bowling average in Tests is 24, while Kumble had 29.65. Ashwin's Test strike-rate is 50.7 as compared to Kumble's 65.9.

Ashwin ended his career with 37 wickets hauls, two more than what Kumble managed during his time with the Indian team.

Both Ashwin and Kumble registered match hauls of 10 wickets eight times. Kumble, however, also picked 10 wickets during an innings.
