The first Test of the series will be played in Headingley and England batter Joe Root will be eyeing a huge feat.

So far, Root has played 152 Test matches and scored 12972 runs. He needs 28 runs more to become the fastest batter to complete 13,000 Test runs.

Former South Africa batter Jacques Kallis is currently holding the record with 13,000 runs in 159 matches.

Root can also break this record during England's four-day Test against Zimbabwe in May.
