Jasprit Bumrah Achieves Historic First In Tests

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah soared to an all-new high in his cricketing career on Day 4 of the fourth Test against Australia in Melbourne.

The star pacer went past the 200-wicket milestone in Test cricket, the joint-fastest Indian to breach the mark.

Bumrah did so after he removed Australia's Travis Head for 1 on Day 4 of the fourth Test at the MCG.

Bumrah, who was already the highest wicket-taker in the series, went past some all-time greats to achieve a historic feat.

The star pacer registered the best average by a bowler with 200 Test wickets in the world.

With the average of 19.5, he surpassed the greats like Malcolm Marshall (20.9), Joel Garner (21.0), and Curtly Ambrose (21.0).

In fact, Bumrah is the first bowler in the history of the game to have claimed 200 wickets in Tests while maintaining an average of under 20.
