Dahiya won silver in the men's freestyle 57kg event in Tokyo.

After failing to win a quota spot, the Wrestling Federation of India did not hold a final trial, ending Dahiya's hopes.

Fellow wrestler Bajrang Punia, who won bronze in Tokyo, is also not going to Paris 2024.

Punia won bronze in the men's freestyle 65kg category in Tokyo 2020.

However, he is now suspended by the National Anti Doping Agency after failing to provide urine samples during his Olympic selection trials.
