India Clinch 6th U19 World Cup Title


India created history as they defeated England to clinch the U19 World Cup 2026 title in Harare.

Opting to bat first, India posted a whopping total of 411/9 in 50 overs.

The biggest architect of India's innings was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who hammered 175 off just balls.

Later, India bundled out England for 311 despite a 115-run knock from Caleb Falconer.

This was India's record-extending sixth U19 World Cup title.

Apart from this, Suryavanshi also registered the highest individual score by a batter in the history of U19 World Cup final.

As a reward, BCCI also announced a cash prize of Rs 7.5 crore for the Indian U19 team.

Suryavanshi also overtook South Africa's Dewald Brevis for the most sixes hit in a single U19 World Cup edition.
