After beating NZ in the Sharjah Cup final in 1988, India have lost three finals in a row.

This includes the 2000 ICC KnockOut Cup final and the 2021 World Test Championship (WTC) final, which were both won by NZ.

If India win the CT 2025 final, it will also be a massive first for them.
