Hot And Cold: Virat Kohli's Record At MCG

Possibly for the final time in his career, Virat Kohli will play a Test match at one of cricket's most legendary stadiums in the 4th Test.

The match will take place at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), a ground of mixed fortunes for Kohli.

The first he played at the MCG during the 2011/12 series, Kohli could manage only 11 runs in two innings, including a golden duck

The second time was in 2014/15, when Kohli scored a stunning 169 and then 54 to help India draw the Test.

Kohli won as captain in his third MCG Test, making 82 in the first innings but another duck in the second.

Kohli has 316 runs in three Tests at the MCG, with an average of 52.66, including two fifties, one century and two ducks.
