England batter Ollie Pope has made Test cricket history.

The 26-year-old, who is currently standing in as captain for the injured Ben Stokes, did so in the Test series vs Sri Lanka.

Pope has brought up a record that not even the greatest Test batsmen, like Sachin Tendulkar or Don Bradman, can boast of.

In the third Test, Pope brought up his seventh career Test century.

The unique bit  is that he has become the first Test cricketer ever to score all of his first seven Test hundreds against different opponents.

Pope has hit hundreds against South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Ireland, India, West Indies and Sri Lanka.

Pope ended up scoring 154 off just 156 balls against Sri Lanka.
