Mhatre Surpasses Raina To Become...

Chennai Super Kings faced yet another defeat in the IPL 2025 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Despite being on the losing side, CSK batter Ayush Mhatre achieved a historic feat.

The 17-year-old star smashed 94 off 48 balls. He now became the youngest batter to score a half-century for CSK.

He surpassed the record of former batter Suresh Raina, who hit half-century at age of 21y 148d in 2008.

Apart from this, Mhatre also became the second youngest half-centurion in IPL history. The record is held by 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
