In 1930 Ashes, Bradman scored 974 runs, which is the highest by a batter in a single series. Gill needs 390 runs more to break that record.

Bradman also registered the fastest 1,000 runs (11 innings) as a Test captain. Gill as already scored 5885 runs in 4 innings and can surpass him soon.

Gill needs one century to equal the record of Bradman (4) to register the most tons by a captain in a single series.

If Gill hits two centuries, then he will equal the record of West Indies batter Clyde Walcott (5), who registered most tons in a single series.
