297% Hike: Women's WC Prize Money tO BE More Than Men

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a whopping 297 per cent hike in prize money for the Women's Cricket World Cup.

As a result, the prize money for the Women's World Cup 2025 is more than that of the most recent Men's World Cup in 2023.

In 2023, the total prize pool for the Men's World Cup was USD 10 million (approx Rs 88.26 crore).

However, the Women's World Cup prize pool will total USD 13.88 million - more than Rs 122 crore.

It is a rise of 297 per cent from the previous Women's World Cup, which had a prize pool of approximately Rs 31 crore.

The winners will take home USD 4.48 million (approximately Rs 39.55 crore).
