India's Neeraj Chopra, who won the men's javelin today for the country's first ever Olympic athletics gold, told reporters he is grateful for all the support he received. "The competitive exposure helped me even though I went through some ups and downs after an injury," Mr Chopra said. He said he was under no pressure at the Tokyo Olympics. "Technique is the key and there was no pressure on me. Good training served as the best motivation," Mr Chopra said.
