Racket Stringing

The Championships stringing team worked round the clock to string over 2,000 rackets comprising 60 per cent for men, 40 per cent for women. In total this adds up to over 40 miles of string. Roughly 65 per cent hybrid (gut and synthetic), 20 per cent gut and 10 per cent synthetic gut. The record time for stringing a racket at The Championships, without comprising quality, is 14 minutes.
