Sania Mirza stumbled at the second round hurdle once again, going down to Czech left-hander Iveta Benesova at the $145,000 Nordic Light Open in Stockholm.

Benesova, 25, continued her winning streak over sixth-seeded Sania, beating her 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 at the hard-court tournament at Olympic Stadium Thursday. It was the third time lucky for Benesova as she beat Sania for the third consecutive time they have met.

Sania, partnering French Nathalie Dechy, has already made a first round exit from the doubles event.
