Sania gets wild card entry into Australian Open

Sania Mirza is headed to Melbourne next month for the Australian Open after being given a wild-card entry.

Sania Mirza is headed to Melbourne next month for the Australian Open after being given a wild-card entry. The Hyderabad-based Indian broke into the top 200 of the WTA rankings. This will be her first Grand Slam event in singles. Sania finished 2004 with two ITF title wins in Niegeria. She was also runner up in five other events.
