Third-seeded Shahar Peer of Israel beat Kaia Kanepi of Estonia 6-3, 6-0 to reach the final of the Prague Open on Saturday.

Prague: Third-seeded Shahar Peer of Israel beat Kaia Kanepi of Estonia 6-3, 6-0 to reach the final of the Prague Open on Saturday.Peer will next play fifth-seeded Samantha Stosur of Australia, who beat No 7 Peng Shuai of China 6-1, 6-3."I was very happy with the way I was playing," Peer said. "I'm waiting for the final. I hope to do well".The final will be Peer's second of her career. She won her first in February at Pattaya City, Thailand.Stosur, the world's top-ranked doubles player, has yet to win her first singles championship.It will be her third carer final, and first on clay. Until this week, she hadn't passed the quarterfinals in a clay event.Peer beat Stosur 6-1, 6-3 on clay at Amelia Island, United States, last year in their only meeting. (AP)
