Paes and Dlouhy in Wimbledon quarter-finals

Paes and Dlouhy have advanced to the men's doubles quarter-finals of the Wimbledon lawn tennis Championships.

London:

India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy advanced to the men's doubles quarter-finals of the Wimbledon lawn tennis Championships, beating American Travis Parrot and Slovak Filip Polasek in the third round on Monday.

The ninth seeded pair was given a stiff resistance by Parrot-Polasek before staving them off 7-6 (2), 7-6 (6), 6-4 in a match that lasted over two hours.

Peas-Dlouhy next meet the winners of the match between third-seeded Israeli pair Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich and Frenchmen Julien Benneteau and Niclolas Mahut.
