Nadal wins Barcelona Open

After winning the Monte Carlo Masters last week, Rafael Nadal lifted his fourth title on clay by winning the Barcelona Open on Sunday.

Madrid: After winning the Monte Carlo Masters last week, Rafael Nadal lifted his fourth title on clay by winning the Barcelona Open on Sunday. He defeated fellow Spaniard Juan Carlos Ferrero 6-1, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3. It's the 18-year-old's fourth ATP title of the year. Nadal joined world number one Roger Federer with the most wins this season on the ATP with 35. Nadal's win-loss record this year is now 35-2 which is exactly the same as that of Federer. As of this week he's already up to seventh in the ATP rankings.
