India's tennis sensation Sania Mirza made a first round exit at the Bangkok Open on Tuesday.

India's tennis sensation Sania Mirza made a first round exit at the Bangkok Open on Tuesday. Sixth seed Meghan Shaughnessy beat the Indian in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 21 minutes. Sania, who slipped to 61st in the latest WTA rankings, double-faulted seven times and committed repeated unforced errors on her backhand. The American is ranked 18 spots above Sania in the rankings.
