Top-seeded Amelie Mauresmo of France and second-seeded Jelena Jankovic of Serbia both reached the semifinals of the without dropping a set.

Top-seeded Amelie Mauresmo of France and second-seeded Jelena Jankovic of Serbia both reached the semifinals of the Strasbourg International without dropping a set on Thursday.

Mauresmo beat No 9 Emilie Loit of France 7-6 (3), 6-4 for her fourth semifinal of the season, and Jankovic downed Italy's Maria Elena Camerin 6-3, 6-4.

Mauresmo plays fifth-seeded Marion Bartoli of France in the semifinals. Bartoli needed over two hours to get past Russia's Elena Vesnina 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.

Jankovic, who trailed 3-1 in the second set, next plays sixth-seeded Anabel Medina Garrigues. Garrigues rallied to beat No 4 Li Na of China 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.

Fourth-ranked Jankovic has now reached the semifinals in eight of 14 tournaments this season and is looking for her second straight title after winning last week's Italian Open.
