Russian Elena Likhovtseva knocks out Belgium's fifth seeded Kim Clijsters in a second round match at Wimbledon.

London: Belgium's fifth seeded Kim Clijsters bowed out of Wimbledon in a second round match. Clijsters lost in straight sets to Russian Elena Likhovtseva 6-7 (5/7) 2-6. Likhovtseva will now face Britain's Elena Baltacha in the third round. In another second round upset, 295th ranked Baltacha beat the 32nd seed Amanda Coetzer of South Africa 5-7 6-4 6-2. Coetzer was leading 2-0 in the second set after winning the first when the 18-year-old Baltacha made a remarkable fightback.
