India's number one singles player Rohan Bopanna and his partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan reached the men's doubles semi-finals of the Kingfisher Airlines Mumbai Tennis Open.

Bopanna and Qureshi got a quarter final walkover last night after their opponents Ivan Navarro (Spain) and Sergio Roitman (Argentina) withdrew from the competition because of the Argentine's elbow injury.

Meanwhile, top seeds Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Sabrice Santoro (France) have also pulled out of the doubles event following the Indian doubles specialist's back injury.

Bhupathi had strained his back four days ago and is expected to be out of action for atleast ten days.
