New Delhi:

Rohan Bopanna and Jarrko Niemenin crashed out of the $5,00,000 Delray Beach International championship after losing their quarterfinal match 6-4, 3-6, 8-10 to fourth seeds Eric Butorac and Bruno Soares.

The Indo-Finnish pair began well by stunning their rivals in the first set as they saved all the four breakpoints and broke them once.

However, the American-Brazilian duo came back strongly, winning the second set to draw parity and then held their nerves in the super tie-breaker to seal a semifinal berth. Bopanna and Somdev Devvarman had lost at the qualifying stage of the singles competition, being held in the United States.
