Bhupathi-Knowles enter Monte Carlo Masters semis

Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles cruised into the semifinals of the men's doubles event of the Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament in Monaco.

India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas cruised into the semifinals of the men's doubles event of the Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament in Monaco.

Bhupathi and Knowles, seeded fourth, defeated fifth seed Swedish-Austrian pair of Simon Aspelin and Julian Knowle 6-2, 6-3 in the quarterfinals on Friday night.

The Indo-Bahamas duo will next face the unseeded South African combination of Jefff Coetzee and Wesley Moodie, who upset US top seed Bob and Mike Bryan 6-2, 2-6, 10-8 in another last eight encounter.
