Melbourne: Tennis Australia will monitor world developments before deciding whether Australia's Fed Cup team goes to Spain for its scheduled first-round match in Tarragona next month. The tennis body cancelled an under-16 tour of Asia because of security fears on Thursday. Spain being one of the most prominent nations involved in the war in Iraq, there have been concerns raised over the Fed Cup team's safety. Alicia Molik and Nicole Pratt head the Australian team named on Friday for the match to be played on clay in Tarragona south of Barcelona on April 26-27. Molik was involved in all three winning matches in Australia's last Fed Cup outing, a 3-2 victory over the Netherlands last year which kept it in the World Group. Doubles specialist Rennae Stubbs and Samantha Stosur were also named in the Australian team. (AP)
