Melbourne: Leander Paes and Martin Damm have sailed through to the third round of the men's doubles event at the Australian Open in Melbourne. The fifth seeds were untroubled in their one hour-long 6-4, 6-2 win over the unseeded australian pair of Nathan Healy and Robert Smeets. The pair now run into Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut in the third round. Also in action in the mixed doubles will be Mahesh Bhupathi and Daniela Hantuchova. They had won the US Open title in 2005.
