Top-seeded Andre Agassi withdrew from this week's TD Waterhouse Cup because of fatigue.

Commack (New York):

Top-seeded Andre Agassi withdrew from this week's TD Waterhouse Cup because of fatigue. "While I had hoped to play next week, my results in the last two ATP tournaments have caused fatigue and forced me to re-evaluate my schedule as the US Open approaches," Agassi said. Lleyton Hewitt, who won in Washington yesterday, was awarded a wild card and will be the No. 2 seed. If Hewitt wins Long Island he will capture the inaugural US Open Series, which awards bonus prize money tied to performance at the US Open. The TD Waterhouse Cup starts on Monday and runs through August 29. (AP)
