Sania Mirza, the Hyderabad Hurricane, is back to her winning ways. She is now through to the quarterfinals of the Japan Open in Tokyo.

Second seeded Mirza survived a scare from Australian Casey Dellacqua before beating her in 3 sets 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in the second round.

The 29 ranked Indian said her experience of playing at the top helped her win the match after a few nervous moments in the opening set of the Tier 3 event.
