KL Rahul was awarded the Man of the Series for his string of good performances with the bat. Even on Sunday, Rahul scored a quickfire 45 and finished the series as the highest run-getter.
Tim Seifert played a brilliant knock as he scored his second consecutive half-century but it was yet again an effort gone in vain as New Zealand failed to chase down the target.
Ross Taylor scored a half-century and was part of a 99-run stand with Tim Seifert, but he lost his wicket and couldn't take his team past the finishing line.
Jasprit Bumrah was awarded man-of-the-match as he roared back to form. Bumrah picked up three wickets for just 12 runs and was instrumental for India in defending a low total.
India's first ever T20I series win turned into a historic 5-0 whitewash. This is the first time any team has won a T20I series with a margin of 5-0 or more.
