BCCI seeks strong law against match-fixing in all sports, says Rajeev Shukla

Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla and Arun Jaitley met Union Law minister Kapil Sibal on Friday to discuss the launch of a law that will check corruption in all sports. Shukla feels a strong law is required as soon as possible to stop scandals like match-fixing plaguing IPL 2013. Shukla refused to comment on Chennai Super Kings CEO Gurunath Meiyappan, who is being investigated for his alleged links with bookies. Gurunath is the son-in-law of BCCI president and CSK owner N. Srinivasan
