The Indian Test team completely outplayed South Africa in the first two Tests and sealed off the series with one match left, beginning on Saturday in Ranchi. After beating South Africa by 203 runs in the series opener, India decimated the opposition by an innings and 137 runs in Pune, creating a new world record of 11 successive series wins at home. Indian players' dominance helped them break several records. Rohit Sharma became the only batsman to score two centuries in his first Test as an opener. India broke the world record of most sixes in a Test match in Vizag. Mayank Agarwal became only the 4th Indian to convert maiden hundred into a double century. Ravindra Jadeja became the quickest left-arm bowler to claim 200 Test wickets. R Ashwin became the joint-fastest to take 350 Test wickets.
