Virat Kohli was once again the hero for India, orchestrating his team's revival after an early slump.
In-form Suresh Raina also chipped in with a valuable fifty.
Virat Kohli slammed yet another half-century and was unbeaten on 74.
An 81-run stand for the fourth wicket between Raina and Kohli helped India post 178/4 in 20 overs.
England opener Michael Lumb (36) played his part in the run-chase but failed to lead his side till the end.
Moeen Ali (46 off 38 balls) tried to ruffle a few feathers but was dismissed while trying to up the scoring rate.
In the end, India recorded a 20-run win over England.
