New Delhi:

Suspense continued today over the candidature of Indian Hockey Federation President K P S Gill in Monday's elections at Kolkata. While both Gill and IHF Secretary General K Jothikumaran declined to say anything on the elections, sources in the federation said that the names could be decided in Kolkata on Sunday. The IHF elections will go ahead as scheduled after the Delhi High Court directives on Friday. The Court refused to stay the annual general meeting and elections though it directed the IHF not to declare the results and keep the same in a sealed cover till further orders. However, Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, who is in London, was unlikely to join in the race, as it was reported earlier. (PTI)
