New Delhi:

The Indian junior hockey team arrived from Holland on Tuesday morning. They finished a disappointing fourth in the World Cup after starting off as one of the favourites. By the team's own admission its form was mediocre throughout the entire campaign, and a loss in the semi finals to Australia and then to Spain in the third place play off, meant the juniors failed to get their hands on any silverware. The coach of the Indian team believes his boys were undone not only by some poor stickwork but also some bad umpiring decisions.
