Indian eves beat Hong Kong 7-0

The Indian women's hockey team notched up a comprehensive 7-0 win over Hong Kong in the 15th Asian Games at Doha on Friday.

The Indian women's hockey team notched up a comprehensive 7-0 win over Hong Kong in the 15th Asian Games at Doha on Friday. The team led 3-0 at the lemon break. Mercurial striker Surinder Kaur did most of the damage. She sounded the board four times. Skipper Jyoti Sunita Kullu also scored twice and Jasjeet Kaur scored once. The win helped the Indian eves to rise to second in the table behind Japan, but more importantly ahead of China on goal difference.
